Murder suspect sought by La Crosse Police

La Crosse Police are searching for the suspect identified in the Nov. 2 shooting death of 18-year-old Javier Hall.

Shavonte Thompson is currently wanted by law enforcement.

Cops were dispatched on Nov. 2 around 9:40 p.m. to the 900 block of Copeland Avenue for a gunshot victim.

Hall was found lying near an alley and later died at a local hospital.

Through the ongoing investigation, 27-year-old Thompson has been identified as the suspect who shot and killed Hall.

Police say the investigation continues, and other people may still be charged.
