Truck crashes through Pischke auto showroom in La Crosse, after collision

Broken glass on the ground and on the floor of a La Crosse car dealership, after a truck crashed through a showroom window Thursday morning.

The vehicle initially collided with another at 4th and Cass streets, forcing the SUV onto the sidewalk and through a window at Pischke Motors, on the north side of Cass.

Police at the scene said the vehicles collided, after one ran a red light.

The accident happened around 8 a.m., and traffic at the intersection was restricted for about an hour.

There were no apparent injuries.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.     There will a lot more of this because more and more people are running red lights.
    I would dramatically increase the fines and patrol with unmarked cars. LaCrosse would make a lot of money.
