Milwaukee customers at bar that offered free drinks for Rodgers’ loss thrilled, then heartbroken

A Milwaukee bar Monday night ran the first of a season-long promotion that customers would drink for free if Aaron Rodgers lost.

Now, there were many conditions set for the tab to be picked up by the bar, but none of them were that Rodgers had to finish the game.

So, when the 39-year-old went down on the New York Jets’ fourth snap during Monday Night Football, customers went wild.

With Zach Wilson in for Rodgers, they racked up giant tabs, knowing the Super Bowl favorite Buffalo Bills wouldn’t lose.

But that’s precisely what happened in extraordinary fashion.

The Bills did tie things in the final seconds of regulation, BANKING a field goal off the upright to push the game into overtime. Plus, they got the ball off the coin flip.

Four plays later, however, punting back to New York, Xavier Gipson took it 65 yards for the touchdown, the win and a very disappointed customer base with hefty tabs in Milwaukee.

The promotion at Jack’s American Pub runs all season, but it looks as though Rodgers might not be starting anymore games this season, or perhaps ever, with a possible torn Achilles.

A state with a high alcoholism rate with a bar that runs a stupid promotion. How many were intoxicated when they left and how many were legally drunk and how many were driving?
