La Crosse County Democratic Party chair William Garcia in the studio WIZM studio Thursday on La Crosse Talk PM, discussing Tammy Baldwin’s re-election, the hypothetical Ron Johnson v. Tammy Baldwin matchup, the potential impeaching political opponents in Wisconsin and guns in Wisconsin schools. Oh, and if we should go back to waiting in line for concert tickets.

La Crosse Talk PM airs weekdays at 5:06 p.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

Covered the Tammy Baldwin running for reelection news in a couple different ways, including what Republicans might go against her — like Scott Walker — but also the what if of Ron Johnson and her on the same ballot.

It was also revealed during the show that Garcia’s daughter got Taylor Swift tickets. So, we hit discussed whether society should just revert back to waiting in line all night to get tickets or keep giving Ticketmaster all the money.

Back to politics, we also hit on the Black Tennessee representatives being reinstated after getting expelled by Republicans for peacefully protesting gun violence in the wake of three students being killed at a school there. Republicans in Wisconsin now have a Senate supermajority, so we discussed the possible expelling of Democrats in the state.

Touched on the Democratic National Convention coming to Chicago, a month after the RNC is in Milwaukee.

Ended the show talking a bit about a GOP proposal to allow guns in Wisconsin schools.
