Minnesota hit hard — again —Thursday by COVID-19; La Crosse sees no new cases
No news cases of COVID-19 in La Crosse, Trempealeau or Vernon counties on Thursday.
La Crosse remains at 33 for the third consecutive day. Trempealeau is still at five, while Vernon at two.
Totals in Wisconsin: 374 deaths, 9,215 cases.
Totals in Minnesota: 508 deaths, 9,365 cases.
Totals in Iowa: 231 deaths, 11,059 cases.
Statewide, Wisconsin reported another 12 deaths and 314 cases.
The news was, again, worse in Minnesota, which had its third consecutive day with a record amount of new cases. Thursday it was 786. Wednesday it was 728. Tuesday, 617.
There were another 23 deaths from the virus in Minnesota, a day after seeing a record 30 deaths on Wednesday.
Houston County also reported its second case of COVID-19, while Winona County remained at 68 cases, 15 deaths.
Only three Minnesota counties have not recorded any cases yet.
In Iowa, there were another 655 confirmed cases and 12 deaths.
