ROCHESTER, Minn. — A fly-by over Med-City in Rochester for health care and front line workers.

Between 11:35-11:50 a.m. Wednesday, two F-16 Flying Falcons will fly east-to-west over the Mayo Clinic’s Methodist and Saint Mary’s campuses. After that, they’ll go north-to-south over the Hilton Building.

The jets are based in Duluth, Minn., and flown by the Minnesota National Guard.

Other Minnesota flyovers include Brainerd, Coon Rapids, Fridley, Minneapolis, Hastings, St. Paul and Stillwater.

All the flights are part of a nationwide tribute to those working the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic, including those in health care, emergency responders and the food industry.
