Gundersen bars visitors except for certain cases

Gundersen Health System in La Crosse announced it is restricting all visitors to hospitals, emergency services and clinics until further notice.

Gundersen noted it is following other state and national guidelines to try and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Anyone picking up or dropping off patients is to remain outside unless they need support in communication.

There will still be exceptions for end-of-life, interpreter/communication needs, surgery, labor and delivery, emergency room and pediatric patients.
