A driver arrested after leading police on a high-speed chase Friday afternoon is facing charges in Jackson County.
The county sheriff’s office says it got a report of a vehicle stolen from a home in Alma, Wis.
The vehicle was later spotted and police pulled it over, but the driver took off.
Police were able to cause the stolen vehicle to spin out, but the driver then took off running before he was taken down by a K9 officer.
The suspect, 44 year old Jarrad Gaede of Alma Center, is facing several charges including fleeing an officer, operating a motor vehicle without consent, and carrying a concealed weapon.
