Myers to be scheduled for trial in husband’s death in Jackson County

A Jackson County woman has been bound over for trial, for allegedly killing her husband and concealing his body.

Star Myers chose not to have a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, and she will be charged formally at a hearing in August. Myers is accused of conspiring with her son and others to hide the body of husband Richard Bork.

Investigators believe Myers shot Bork last March, when he told her that he was seeing another woman. Bork was reported missing, and his buried remains were discovered days later.

Myers faces seven criminal charges, including 1st degree homicide and hiding a corpse.
