Rockland man accused of repeated sexual assaults of pre-teen girl
A 71-year-old La Crosse County man is being accused of repeated sexual assaults of the same child over several years.

Daniel Puckhaber of Rockland faces a possible 60-year prison term if he’s found guilty.
A 13-year-old girl told a counselor that Puckhaber is a friend of her mother, and that he would touch her private parts while they were watching movies at his house.
Puckhaber allegedly told the girl not to tell anyone “or something worse would happen,” according to the complaint.
The girl said she was 6 years old when the assaults began, but they ended about three years ago dating between January 2010 and December 2015, before she entered foster care.
Puckhaber has denied the charge, according to a criminal complaint.

I know Dan and I know him quite well and he’s a Christian’s. All the friends they have they all talk very highly of him and his wife. Those who has known him for many years say he is a man they trusted always will their children. The children are all adults now and have children them selves. Those I’ve met say Dan is a loving man and a man that is a person who loves Jesus. Why someone who would say this has to be a liar and someone who has a big problem. My own friends say he’s a a man they are happy to call him a friend to the whole family. Any one who knows him say he would never hurt any children.

Daniel is a pedophile. He has raped many children throughout his life. I was one of them. He was found guilty of the crime in this article on Dec. 7, 2021.

I am a family member of his that no longer has anything to do with him because he abuses children!!! It is a fact!! Keep kids both boys and girls away from him he has done it to both sexes!!!!!

he was finally found guilty and sent to prison for 29 years. he will die there. i hope he dies there. I am the mother of one of his victims.
