Police resuscitate man passed out at wheel on Rose St.

SUV was running and in gear when police busted through window

Jared Emerson told police he doesn’t do drugs. 

That, however, didn’t seem to be the case Sunday evening.

Police found the 25-year-old passed out at the wheel, his SUV running, in gear and blocking both lanes of Rose Street near Black River Beach.

Police had to break the window to get at the Trempealeau, Wis., man, who was turning blue. They gave him chest compressions before first-responders came and administered Narcan.

In his SUV, police found needles, meth, heroin and other drug paraphernalia.
