Sanders and Trump, no longer on the list

Hillary Clinton has yet to pay her bill.

La Crosse police say the campaigns of both Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders have paid for its services for events in the week before Wisconsin’s April primary.

Trump had owed over $12,000. Sanders was at $15,000.

Both rallies held by those candidates were big affairs and required a major police presence. Sanders’ rally had over 3,000 in attendance at the OmniCenter. Trump’s was limited to 1,500, which is capacity for the North Hall of the La Crosse Center.

Clinton’s bill was about $300, because only a few hundred people turned out to see her at Western Technical College. Police say they’ve sent the Clinton campaign a second invoice.
