Publicity Push Planned For Pump House Mural

It has been an art attraction in La Crosse for six months now…but is it getting the attention that it deserves?

Members of the city arts board are talking about ways to help people appreciate the 3-D mural on the west wall of the Pump House.

Board president Don Smith says a sign could soon be placed in front of the John Pugh artwork, describing the significance of the faces and objects shown in the mural.  He’d also like to see more promotion of the ‘Confluence’ painting as a local tourist attraction.
