Tea Party Group Presents Legal Challenge to Campbell Rule

The Tea Party group that has recently been ticketed by the town of Campbell for violating a sign ordinance on the town’s pedestrian overpass is demanding town police stop enforcing the rule.  The town board adopted the sign ordinance last month in response to protests on the pedestrian walkway that bridges the interstate.  One tea party member was ticketed for unfurling an American flag on the bridge.  Now, a letter to the town demands an end to enforcement and says a legal challenge will be forthcoming if the ordinance is not scrubbed.
