Ben Hein on donation drive, volunteer meet at The Exchange in La Crosse

Ben Hein, executive director of what’s best known as The Exchange in La Crosse joined to talk about a couple of events they have coming up, including this Saturday.

The Exchange – La Crosse Area Furniture Bank, is just that, a place to donate and receive gently used furniture and households items.

Hein talks about the people they serve and the biggest needs — which just happen to be queen sized beds — and what their criteria are for receiving those donations. 

The first of two events is a donation drop off drive happening from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at The Exchange (map). 

The other event is a volunteer meet and greet at 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. for those who want to learn more about taking part.
