37-year-old Westby man arrested in connection with stolen GMC from last August

A 37-year-old from rural Westby, Wis., was arrested Thursday in connection with pickup truck that was stolen and recovered in August of 2023.

Mark Mc Kibbin was arrested, the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office reports. The 2012 GMC 3500 was reported stolen late on Aug. 8 and found damaged and abandoned a day later.

Mc Kibbin was taken to the Vernon County jail and awaits a bail hearing, along with formal charges.
