Sex crime suspect from Onalaska makes court appearance

An Onalaska man faces charges for sex-related crimes, and drug possession. Timothy Palubicki appeared in La Crosse County court late last week.

The 56-year-old Palubicki is accused of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child, use of a computer in a sex crime, and possession of meth.

Palubicki has been ordered not to use the internet, and is allowed no contact with anyone under 18.

Palubicki is in the county jail, under a cash bond of $5000. He’s due back in court on Friday, April 19th.

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
