The accomplishments for the UW-La Crosse football team have piled up .Eagles coach Matt Janus joined La Crosse Talk PM on Tuesday, taking a few minutes off from watching game film ahead of the Eagles’ first home playoff game since 2006.

La Crosse Talk PM airs weekdays at 5:06 p.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here, or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

UW-L is ranked fourth in the country, 9-1 overall and one of four top seeds in the playoffs, led by his dual-threat quarterback, what we learn is “The Alien” at wide receiver, and “The Joker,” the guy with the funny hair, that leads this defense. We also discuss beating UW-Whitewater for the first time in 19 seasons and what’s scary both about UW-L and its upcoming opponent, Minnesota-Morris (7-3).
