Began the show talking about how Republicans in the state haven’t funded Phase II of the Prairie Springs Science Center at UW-La Crosse for the past five years. After that, Pfaff talks about the Coon Creek project, that has to do with soil erosion and washout in the area.

Then we discussed the debate into funding the Brewers stadium. Another couple of topics discussed that the Legislature could take up dealt with continuing the Office of School Safety and helping childcare centers, as the state continues to sit on $4 billion in budget surplus for 19 months now.

This discussion is factually incorrect. Five years ago the new science building was not presented as a Phase I…it was the entire project. The concept of a Phase II wasn’t brought forward until after Phase I was built. This was either incredibly poor planning or a bait and switch by Gow.
