As I See It

We’re not getting what we’re paying for

Wisconsin taxpayers finally found out what they are getting for their money, and it is clear it is not a bargain. Taxpayers are on the hook for $680,000 worth of “investigation” into the most recent presidential election. The head of that investigation is former Wisconsin Supreme Court justice Michael Gableman, who has claimed for months the election was stolen. Hardly an impartial investigation. Gableman refused for months to identify how all that money was being spent, but finally relented. We have learned that among those on his staff hoping to find fraud in the election is a man named Andrew Kloster, a former Trump administration official who has falsely claimed the election was stolen. He is earning $5000 per month for his role in the investigation. Also on the team is the president of the Wisconsin Voter Alliance which unsuccessfully asked the Wisconsin Supreme Court to throw out the results of the election and force the Republican-led legislature to certify the election results instead. Now that we know who makes up this investigative team, it is more clear than ever that this investigation is a partisan attempt to malign our hard working election officials, which is a huge waste of our tax money.

And when democrats pulled the same thing we were not getting our money’s worth either, we’re we. Something you forgot to mention in your bias, misleading rant.
