La Crosse hits 21% fully vaccinated, while Minnesota has triple the COVID cases as Wisconsin, Iowa

Exactly 21 percent of La Crosse County residents are fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

The county hit that number Tuesday, while 34.2 percent have gotten at least the first dose.

Statewide, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa all nearly identical in vaccine percentages:

La Crosse added 12 COVID-19 cases Tuesday. The average over the past week is eight cases per day.

Statewide, Wisconsin and Iowa added nearly 600 cases, while Minnesota had almost 1,300.

Wisconsin and Iowa haven’t had over 1,000 cases since, coincidentally, Feb. 11. Minnesota has been over 1,000 cases 12 of the past 14 days and 16 of the past 22 days.
