Survey on energy use sponsored by La Crosse City Hall

City leaders in La Crosse have been promoting the goal of making the community carbon-free within 30 years.

To achieve that end, the city is working on a Climate Action Plan, and it needs your help.

Lewis Kuhlman, an environmental planner at City Hall, is asking city residents to respond to an on-line survey about how they use energy.

Kuhlman believes many people who would like to take steps at saving energy or being more climate-friendly just can’t afford to do it right now.  The survey is open through Friday of next week, by logging on to the website cityoflacrosse.org/sustainability.

The on-line survey continues until March 5th, and after results of the survey have been added up, there could be public programs on energy savings later in the year.
