Helicopters to fly over Rotary Lights again

Here’s another sign that Rotary Lights will be starting soon: the La Crosse board of public works has approved helicopter rides for two weekends of the holiday light show this December.
City staffer Greg Elsen says the helicopter rides will be operated much as they were last winter, with flights beginning and ending at the southside festgrounds.
In La Crosse’s Riverside Park, crews have been busy for several days now getting the park ready for the 26th annual Christmas display.
November 27th will be the opening night for Rotary Lights this year.

Terry Bauer and all who have worked, prayed and served our beloved LaCrosse Riverside Park Christmas decorations are to be commended. Watching and reading the WIZM reports and pictures lifted my spirits!
Due to the Corona Virus I, we have been ‘boxed’ in our rooms at Villa St. Joseph with brief periods to walk outdoor. Yes, Blessed Advent and Merry Celebration of Jesus Birthday on December 25th
