Over 100 La Crescent-Hokah students quarantining, after possible COVID-19 exposure

Over 100 students in the La Crescent-Hokah School District are quarantining, after a possible COVID-19 exposure from a staff member.

There are exactly 118 students now virtual learning full time for the next two weeks in grades 5-12, according to Superintendent Kevin Cardille.

None of the students tested positive for COVID-19.

The change shouldn’t be significant. The learning model from grades 5-12 was already a hybrid one, where students were placed in two groups — one virtual learning, the other learning in the classroom, before rotating.
