After setting a single-day high with 32 cases, La Crosse County tied its previous high Friday with 24 more cases.

That according to state data. The county has averaged 20.3 cases the past seven days. It comes as the Coulee COVID-19 Collaborative website got its first update, since launching last Friday. That data, however, is through Aug. 25.

In Winona County, which saw a record 38 cases on Thursday, there were 12 more reported Friday.

La Crosse is up to 1,133 cases total, while Winona’s total is now 365.

Statewide, Wisconsin added another 843 cases, 52 hospitalizations and two deaths.

Minnesota reported 862 cases, after setting a single-day high Thursday with 1,158.

The state also reported four deaths — there were 27 the previous two days combined — and 31 hospitalizations.

In Iowa, after 2,621 cases into Friday, there were 1,344 more in a 24-hour period that ended at 4 a.m. Saturday. There were also 17 more deaths. The state has had 61 deaths the past four days.

The state said the increase in cases is due to the Iowa Department of Public Health including antigen testing results in its COVID-19 reporting.

This story will be updated as counties report more cases.
