Four hurt in Jackson County car vs buggy accident

A buggy with five passengers was hit from behind in an accident that happened in the Town of Franklin Tuesday night.

Jackson County Deputies were called to the crash at 7:45 p.m. The initial investigation shows a vehicle and a buggy were traveling west on County Rd. N when the vehicle hit the buggy. Three passengers in the buggy were taken to Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries. A fourth was taken by Gundersen Air for serious injuries, but that person is expected to survive.

The accident is under investigation.
