Tennessee man accused of stabbing at Monroe County gentleman’s club

A Tennessee man is facing charges after allegedly stabbing another man during a fight at a gentleman’s club near Sparta. 

Late Friday night, sheriff’s officers were called to Barron’s Club west of Sparta, to find a 30-year-old La Crescent man with a stab wound to the chest. 

The injured man was taken to Mayo in Sparta for treatment. 

The stabbing suspect surrendered to K-9 officers a short time later. 

He’s identified as Samuel Walker from Whitesburg, Tennessee. 

Walker may be charged with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct.
