La Crosse adds four cases COVID-19, while Wisconsin back to double-digit deaths

Four new cases of COVID-19 in La Crosse County on Tuesday.

That brings the total of cases to 60 with 47 recovered. Nobody is currently in the hospital. No other counties in the area reported cases.

Wisconsin: 18,917 cases, 607 deaths
Minnesota: 25,508 cases, 1,072 deaths
Iowa: 20,016 cases, 561 deaths


Statewide, Wisconsin cases of COVID-19 rose by 374 Tuesday, after two days below 200.

There were 12 deaths reported in the state, after two days in the single digits.

About 14 percent of those who get the virus end up hospitalized in the state.

In Minnesota, cases were down from Monday but deaths were up.  The state added 310 new cases, compared to 361 on Monday.  There are 22 new deaths, the highest number since Saturday. 

In Iowa, as of 10 a.m. Tuesday, there were 20 additional COVID-19 deaths and 264 new cases in a 24-hour period. Iowa does not report daily totals, instead putting numbers on its website in real time.

Worldwide, there are over 6.4 million confirmed cases and more than 378,350 deaths. Here’s a look at the countries with the most cases and deaths.
