Artspire festival postponed because of COVID-19

One of La Crosse’s newer summer festivals may be rescheduled for late summer or fall, as a result of the spread of coronavirus.

The 7th annual Artspire event at the Pump House is being postponed indefinitely from its planned date of Saturday, June 13th.

Artspire features music and other performances, as well as visual art displays, indoors and on the street.

Organizers of Artspire are hoping to have the festival later in the year.

The very first Artspire in 2014 featured the unveiling of the 3-D mural painted on the west wall of the Pump House.

Brad Williams

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area. He regularly covers local courts and city and county government. Brad produces the features "Yesterday in La Crosse" and "What's Buried on Brad's Desk." He also writes the website "Triviazoids," which finds odd connections between events that happen on a certain date, and he writes and performs with the local comedy group Heart of La Crosse. Brad been featured on several national TV programs because of his memory skills.
