The Dahl Family YMCA in La Crosse will be operating as a school-age childcare facility starting Wednesday.

YMCA CEO Bill Soper says the Hauser YMCA in Onalaska will remain open and Dahl members will be able to use that facility.

Restrictions at Hauser include the cancelations of programs, classes, activities, and events.

Exceptions will be made for one on one private lessons and personal training.

Members are being asked to limit their visit to two hours maximum, and there will also be no guests allowed for members.

More details on childcare will come via the Y’s website, www.laxymca.org.

Soper says they are anticipating opening the facility on April 13th, in accordance with the schools being reopened.
