Pence visit to Onalaska canceled as V.P. handles coronavirus concerns

A “Women for Trump” event that was supposed to be held at Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska has been canceled.

Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen were supposed to attend, but Pence will now go to Washington state, which has seen the most cases of coronavirus.

Mrs. Pence is still slated to appear at a campaign rally in St. Paul later Thursday.

It’s not known whether the Onalaska event will be rescheduled.
