A summer meal program will help more children in La Crosse.

From June 11-Aug. 31, kids 18 and under can get two free meals a day at a couple sites through a new program run by Gundersen Health System.

Lunch will be served at both Poage Park and Powell Park.

This is the first year Gundersen will provide free meals for children in La Crosse.  Free meals are also served at several other sites around the city, mostly at schools.

I also act as the voice of local sports, doing play by play of high school and college football and basketball. When not working I enjoy golfing.
