La Crosse woman and her father neuter cats on kitchen table with razor blade

A daughter and father are in the La Crosse County jail after neutering two cats on a kitchen table.

Police were called to an apartment building on 8th Street in La Crosse late Sunday night after an anonymous report of animal abuse. When confronted about the accusation, 43-year-old Melissa Miller admitted it and initially seemed to defend the practice.

Her father, 69-year-old William Miller, put the cats on the kitchen table and restrained them in a leather sleeve in the front. Melissa then held the cats down, while William cut off their testicles with a razor blade.
Each “neutering” took 2 minutes.

After cops found the cats, Onyx and Binx, hiding under a bed, Miller told them they still hadn’t, “warmed up to her yet.”

William said her daughter couldn’t afford the veterinary costs. He added the procedure seemed to turn out fine, and he had done it to farm cats in the past.

Both cats have been impounded and the two were charged with felony animal abuse.

Why are these people being singled out?
Farmers and Vets do this all the time, not only to cats and dogs, but also to calves and pigs.
It has been going on for years, even in the Bible days.
