La Crosse man abducted, then robbed though thief says he was robbed first

She asked him to go for a walk, only to have her friends abduct and rob the guy.

Nathan Juran of La Crosse was walking with a woman on Jackson Street last week when a black SUV pulled up next to them.

Juran told police a black man told him to get in, and he did.

While in the van, Juran refused to tell the two men and woman in the vehicle where he lived, until the first man punched him in the face.

Once they arrived at Juran’s home on Rose St., the three culprits went inside and stole a mountain bike, a guitar amp and some headphones before leaving.

La Crosse police learned that James Wilson, the driver inside the van, was trying to take back items that Juran allegedly stole from him. 

Four people are being charged with kidnapping and robbery…the three in the SUV, and the woman who persuaded Juran to walk with her.
