Armed fugitive arrested in Richland County

Jakubowski caught just after 6 a.m.

Joseph Jakubowski has been captured in Richland County.

The AP and a Richland Center radio station confirm that the fugitive was arrested in Richland County about 6 o’clock this morning, around county Highway U.

There were tips in the town of Boaz about an armed man seen near the Richland-Vernon County border.

Jakubowski has been sought since a gun shop robbery last week in Janesville.
