Unclear if you will be given an I Voted sticker

In person absentee voting officially begins today in La Crosse county.

Clerks in the county had earlier this year agreed to starting the early voting on the same day.

A few, however, have been accepting ballots in person for a couple of weeks.

Generally, absentee voting can occur in person during regular hours at the municipal clerk’s offices – although a few in the county don’t have regular hours and are appointment-only.

Some places in the state – like Dane and Milwaukee counties – have been holding in-person, absentee voting since late last month.
