La Crosse’s Bradley, third Wisconsin delegate to cancel trip to GOP convention
Kleefisch and Grebe also dropped out
Another delegate from Wisconsin has cancelled their trip to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland next week.
Julian Bradley, the the representative for the Third Congressional District, which voted for Donald Trump in the April primary, said on Facebook, “an unimaginable tragedy struck a friend that is truly like a brother to me. I immediately booked my trip east, reached out to my employer to let them know of the time I would be missing, and then district leadership to notify the party that I would no longer be attending.”
In doing so, Bradley used up the vacation time he set aside for the convention.
“Between my unplanned trip and all of my planned time off for various campaign events, I would not have the time to cover the convention which is why I withdrew,” wrote Bradley, who is also campaigning for the 94th District Assembly.
Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch and Michael W. Grebe, who just retired as the CEO of the $850 million Bradly Foundation out of Milwaukee.
