Police identify stabbing suspect
La Crescent police have identified the suspect involved in multiple stabbings in La Crescent as 27 year-old Sean Kasten from Ettrick.
Police say Kasten stabbed a woman, a three year-old child and a dog while in a car stopped at an intersection in La Crescent on Tuesday night.
Kasten will be charged with attempted murder. Police suspect there may be drugs involved in the stabbing.
Police say Kasten and the woman are being treated for their injuries. The dog has also been treated at a local vet.
