Roosh V meetup in La Crosse cancelled

Valizadeh wrote he could not
insure safety of those attending

Apparently, a controversial meetup of men in La Crosse’s Riverside Park this weekend won’t happen after all.

La Crosse had been pegged as one of 165 spots around the world where a group of followers of the blogger Roosh Valizadeh on Saturday would gather in secret to launch a new level of tribalism among those following the Roosh V vision.

Followers of Valizadeh know Return of Kings as a website and a state of mind for the man who advocates for a “neomasculinity.” Essentially saying that women need to find their place again as a second class citizen to men. 

His idea was to have secret groups of men develop in all of these spots that would continue as social constructs even after a larger societal collapse.

Because of some of his stated views of women as subservient and lesser humans, the events began to be known as “pro-rape” events. Nearly a year ago, he wrote an article how he would stop rape by making it legal on private property.

Valizadeh, on his website, claims he cancelled the meetings because he could no longer insure the safety of the men who would attend.
