Prostitution sting nails two men, two women on French Island

Police advertised online to attract culprits

Four arrests have been made in La Crosse County through a prostitution sting conducted by local officers last week. 

Two women are charged with pandering and two men are suspected of looking for sex with underage girls. 

Campbell Police Chief Drew Gavrilos says area officers advertised online to attract people seeking prostitutes, and they came across the local suspects in the process of participating in a nationwide investigation.

Police set up the online sting operation through a hotel on French Island.
