Crossings to close for BNSF track work

Burlington Northern track work will shut down a couple of rail crossings in La Crosse this week, starting with one today.  City hall says The Cass Street crossing will shut down today while crews install a second set of tracks.  The city says the work should be done by tomorrow night.   Burlington Northern moves on to the Main Street crossing on Thursday.  That should be done by Friday.  The company apparently is ahead of schedule in stretching a second set of tracks to its northside yard.
