Mayor urges patience with construction

The street construction mess in La Crosse is only supposed to last another month. Mayor Tim Kabat tells us the maintenance project on 2nd Street between State and La Crosse Streets is on schedule to end in August. He urges drivers to be patient. 

 

The mayor was concerned about the impact the construction might have on Riverfest, which ended on Saturday. But he says despite traffic and parking problems, it looks like the festival had higher attendance than last year.

 

A native of Prairie du Chien, Brad graduated from UW - La Crosse and has worked in radio news for more than 30 years, mostly in the La Crosse area.
