More Artist Venues Will Inspire More Art

Fans of the performing arts had plenty of chances this weekend to sample local talent during the Artspire festival downtown.  There could be more performances to bring audiences to the central city in the future, if plans for a new downtown arts venue come to pass. Downtown Mainstreet director Robin Moses says people in the city will quickly realize that adding more to the art presence will make for a more thriving downtown.  She’s been involved with talks about developing new performance space for UWL, or an extra stage for the La Crosse Center.
