Kind Approves of VA Changes

The new leadership at the VA facility in Tomah continues to implement change, a month and a half after being brought in to take on the task. A new 30 day plan at the VA addresses not only how the medical center can better improve care for veterans, but it also aims to give employees more of a voice without fear of speaking out. The 30 Day Plan will also address a needed cultural change in how the facility operates.

Congressman Ron Kind says no matter whther he’s in Wisconsin or Washington D.C., he’s keeping tabs on the place.

 

The 30 day plan includes holding listening sessions with employees, and talking with patients regarding their needs. A major emphasis will be promoting better interaction between leadership and staff. That according to newly appointed acting director John Rohrer.
