Town Of Genoa Fatal Crash

A one car accident early yesterday claimed one life. It happened sometime

around 1am on Highway 56 in the Town of Genoa. 28 year old Daniel Deflorian of rural Genoa was traveling west when he lost control and crossed the centerline. His car went through a guardrail and down a steep embankment. Deflorian was ejected from the car, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident, which remains under investigation, is Monroe County’s third traffic fatality of 2015.
