West Salem Schools Hope For Positive Results Today

The possibility of a new middle school in West Salem is in the hands of voters today, following a similar failed referendum last April. The school district is proposing a $31.2 million referendum. Troy Gunderson, superintendent of West Salem School District, says they went to the public to find out why the first one failed…..and to work to correct what they had to say.

If approved, a new middle school would be home to students in fifth through eighth grade. The old middle school would then be partially updated to house 4-K and the Boys and Girls Club.
