City Fix Up Program On Back Burner For Now
The end of a popular program that helps people in La Crosse do small home
repairs has frustrated some.
Including the strongest proponent of the Paint and Fix up program, Neighborhood Revitalization Commission chair, Sara Sullivan. She says the program is not just a boost for each individual homeowner
The city planning office tells us the program will likely not operate at all this year after legal problems were identified in using tax dollars to fund it. Private funding will be sought for the program for next year.
