Frac Fighting Forward

The fight over frac sand mining in Houston County apparently will go on.

During a two-hour meeting filled with shouting and accusations, the county board turned down a complete ban on the practice of mining silica sand.  Public opinion has been overwhelmingly in favor of such a ban.  Ken was among several spectators in the audience who’s suspicious of the frac sand business:

The majority of board members who voted against the ban argued that regulations can be made tough enough to limit frac sand operations in Houston County.
