Motel Won’t Open Until Weekend After Fire Investigation

Investigators are still looking into the cause of a weekend fire at an

Onalaska Motel. They know that the fire at the Baymont Inn was confined to the laundry room, in a clothes dryer.  There was moderate smoke damage in that room and other parts of the first floor.  The Baymont has been closed since that fire on Sunday, and a motel staffer tells us that it may remain closed for the rest of the week.
