Police Seek Car that Ran Down Pedestrian Early Sunday Morning

La Crosse police are hoping for public help in finding the driver of a car that mowed down a pedestrian over the weekend. Cops say the car ran over a guy crossing Cass street close to downtown at about bartime on Sunday. The victim was tossed onto the hood of the car and then flung off. Suffered a broken leg. Police say they’re looking for a green or teal two door sporty car with a loud exhaust and silver rims. They think the guy behind the wheel was the only one in the car at the time.
